You know Kate … if you’re a crap mum then I am too. The only reason I drive Zoe to school is ’cause it’s all uphill … and I go to the gym after I drop her off anyway. Most of the time I don’t do their washing any more and I’m not even making them dinner until they clean the kitchen. I think it’s been about a week so far. There’s NOTHING wrong with bringing kids up to be independent. I don’t think they’ll remember all the things you did FOR them as much as they’ll remember all the things you did WITH them. <3

You are a great mum . . and have amazing kids. I only feel sad that we don’t live closer to one another , and all could have got to know each other (and everyone else) better x x x

Thankyou for sharing such a heartfelt story xx I see your kids getting exactly what they need from you. LOVE….They are all so blessed and I think that shows in their achievements to date! Just quietly who doesn’t forget them or make them walk every now and then xx
