Oh my gosh, I do love Poppies!

Through the dancing poppies stole

A breeze most softly lulling to my soul.

How gorgeous are Poppies?

For a week or more, after work, I have been driving past a garden full of delightful poppies. Swaying in the wind. Looking all delicate and beautiful. Each day I drove past I would get annoyed because it would be another day that I didn’t bring my camera. After about the fifth day, I wrote a note POPPIES!!!! and left it on my dashboard. Maybe that would make me remember! Well, it did.

So, on Thursday I drove to the place (it is actually the front garden of the local Vet). Parked the car and went inside. Asked them if they would mind if I took photos of their beautiful garden. They were so lovely and said please do. Here is just a small taste of what I took. I am so thrilled. There are many more photos but there is no where to put them (yet).

The Vet is moving premises…as I was out there lying on their grass, snapping away, a few of the staff came out. They said that they were moving to a place that will not have a garden and that they would miss it very much.

Once again, I would really like to thank them for letting me take the shots. Almost makes me want to garden myself (I did say almost).

I’m So glad you stopped!! These are stunning photos – I’m so in awe of your amazing bokeh:) Beautiful. I love poppies too, ever since I heard the witch in the Wizard of Oz slowly say ‘Poppies….’ in that memorable voice:) vanessa x

**Sigh**These are fantastic, I’m loving the 50mm. You need to sell these to the vet staff, for their “new walls” think large canvas. Well done. Nicxx
