Yesterday was such a gorgeous winter’s day – divine blue skies, flowers are out and about – so I decided to take my camera out into our garden and snap some shots. Just for a bit of fun – and it WAS fun. You see, I have realised that Dandelion’s and other inanimate objects are fantastic models! They don’t get tired, they don’t get cranky, they don’t need to be bribed. They just ARE! How wonderful is that???
I took about 200 shots around the place…all with my manual Pentax lens that I love. This time I put an old magnifying filter on the front of it and gosh – I love that lens even more with it!
The Dandelion photo above, well it was on my neighbour’s nature strip. I lay on the footpath and the grassy bit and focused on the dandelion. The red in the background that works so well was actually one of our cars! Anyway, I posted this photo late last night on my Facebook page. Lo and behold, someone has contacted me and purchased a print of it. I am quietly delighted and thrilled to say the least!
Here is a LARGE selection of my favourite shots from the day….let me know what your fav is (if you have one of course!)

These are beautiful beautiful pictures. May I ask what you use to process? It looks like several are strait out of the camera. Your photos are always so scrumptious! Also, I had no idea you weren't here in the US…where are you that it is winter??
Yellow daisy for sure
