A selection of photos I took today

I kind of went ‘location hunting’, enjoyed myself on this beautiful winter day in Melbourne. The shots below are not my normal style nor are they processed like I normally process my images. However, I am really happy with these and hope you all enjoy them.

1. Tunnel Vision

2. Abandoned

3.  Peeking

4. Noah’s Ark

5. Noah’s Ark – same as above but B&W – couldn’t decide which I liked best…

  1. Amazing, Kate!

These puppies have got so much life in them and are so “you”. Fabulous!

  2. Kate, these are beautiful!! It’s so funny the contrast of your day and mine (at the beach). ;) Keep ‘em coming! xo

  3. omg , this old salt is dissolving right now. LOVE these!!
I am SO picking your brains next time we visit Melbourne! Between this & my brother’s FB pics of Tas. tonight, I am seriously homesick for southern climes right now!!!

  4. Loving these images Kate, especially Tunnel shot #2 and I adore the coloured Noah’s ark!
I would love to see peeking from a lower perspective, so the darkness could give the illusion you were coming up out of the water. But then you know how I love to see the world like I was an ant :)

  5. I’m a big fan of B&W but prefer the boat in colour here because the colours are so vibrant. Love the second Tunnel Vision … I think the person gives the photo a bit more depth. LOVE the sky in Abandoned and the barren tree branches on the left. This one has a really dark desolate feel to it.

You’re right. These photos are different to what you normally take. It shows that you’re quite versatile and have a good eye for many different subjects. I want to see more !

  6. gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!! i’m so excited to “hang out” with you in evolve!
